The GCCF describes a low-maintenance cat with a dense, soft double coat, moderately active and playful, and a good match for families with children. It gives a lifespan of 12 to 15 years. CFA says the coat is short, dense, fine and plush, with combing two or three times a month helping to manage shedding.
