The Devon Rex has a short, soft, wavy coat that sheds less than most cats and needs only gentle handling because the fine hairs break easily. GCCF describes it as highly active and mischievous, and CFA says it gets along very well with children. It suits indoor living but dislikes being left alone for long periods.
